About the Euronext
Euronext was formed in 2000 when the Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris exchanges merged. Lisbon joined in 2002, followed by Dublin in 2018, Oslo in 2019 and Milan in 2021.
Each market keeps its own national benchmark index, such as the CAC 40 in Paris and the AEX in Amsterdam. Cash trading runs from 9:00 to 17:30 Central European Time, which is 8:00 to 16:30 local time in Lisbon and Dublin.
